Manja W - Oregon Face Painters

Manja’s introduction to face painting began in 2001 while preparing her class for their annual appearance in the Hood River 4th of July Parade.  The joy it brought to the children and families that day started her on a journey to a new career path.  People began requesting that she face paint at their children’s birthday parties and that’s when she realized her true passion and talent and started her professional training in the field of face painting and body art.

By 2003 she was in demand for local birthday parties as well as community and fundraising events and soon became the premier face painter for several major companies in her area, all of which continue to hire her for their annual company events.

Manja has since trained a team that she calls on to do large events.  She loves working with people of all ages in all settings, understands how to meet the needs of her clients, and is skilled at tailoring her designs to suit the individual and/or venue. Her favorite opening line is, “Let me surprise you!” and pretty soon the crowd is saying, “Let her surprise you… she is amazing at matching her designs to people!” This moves the line more quickly, builds anticipation, and creates a sense of wonder with the crowd.

Manja uses only the best products in the industry and doesn’t skimp on the bling!  She also offers waterproof glitter and mica tattoos which are a perfect addition to any event, especially where water activities or rain may be present.  She can create custom designs for company promotions or private occasions.
