I’m an easy going, fun loving caricaturist with over 35 years of professional experience. I do events within St.Petersburg and Sarasota, FL.
I started drawing at age 2 and never stopped. I always wanted to be a comic book artist, so I got good at drawing
people early. By age 14, I was drawing courtroom sketches for the Evening Herald newspaper in Rock Hill South Carolina. At 17, I was old enough to be hired to do pastel portraits at an amusement park. That fall, I started at art school. In college I needed to make extra money, so I started drawing caricatures at festivals, fairs and at parties.
I’ve had the luxury of drawing for the Atlantis Resort in the
Bahamas for 4th of July and for the 2010 Super Bowl in Miami. However, I also really enjoy more intimate events like kids birthday parties, Assisted Living Facility events and Holiday gatherings.
“I flatter I don’t shatter!” I always try to draw caricatures that make people happy and feel good about themselves. The kind of drawings that people will want to keep and
cherish for a long time.
