Happy almost-autumn, everyone! Summer 2026 has been a blast, but we’re already thinking ahead to our favorite time of year: Halloween.
Halloween parties are a treat for our entertainers, who always love getting into the holiday spirit with their hosts and guests. There’s just something about all of those little goblins and witches running around that puts everyone into a fun and whimsical mood. And what’s more fun and whimsical than themed Halloween parties? Check out some ideas for entertainment below!
Are you having a Nightmare Before Christmas themed party? This has to be one of the longest-running popular choices for Halloween aesthetics, even 30+ years after it premiered! And we can’t reccomend face painting for it enough. Tim Burton’s character designs are so iconic at a glance that you can become Sally or Jack Skellington in 10 minutes, or have an Oogie Boogy boogying down your arm, a little Zero the Ghost Dog on your cheek…
How about the perennial-millenial favorite, Hocus Pocus? This type of event is a perfect fit for our Fortune Tellers! Bringing a touch of the occult to your party with their mysterious Tarot cards, runestones, bones, and palm readings, it’s like having a less-bloodthirsty Sanderson sister for your very own consultation. Bonus: they will not try to eat any children!
Wednesday was a big hit with the young female demographic for the last few years, and our airbrush tattoo artists didn’t let that one slip by them – our artists are always curating new collections of stencils to offer up-to-date designs for Halloween celebrations, including designs featuring Wednesday’s iconic pigtails, Cousin Itt, and more.
Over the last few years, Haunted Carnival concepts have been growing in popularity, bringing together a nostalgia for old-school entertainment with the spooky ambiance that now surrounds the bygone industry. Stilt-Walkers, Jugglers, and Mimes are often happy to put on specialty makeup and costumes to become ghastly performers from beyond the grave, perfect for your accursed Midway plans! Clowns, sadly, don’t tend to like to frighten children, despite the impact of Steven King’s “IT” on the cultural consciousness, but you can probably a talk a juggler into the costuming if you have the right agent (hint, hint).
For any themed party where guests are showing up in incredible costumes, consider booking a caricature artist to offer full-body drawings of your guests in their costumes. These keepsake drawings will make the clever costume ideas your guests have created last a long time, and remind them of what a killer host you are!
If there’s an end to the list of unique party concepts and ideas that clients will bring to us, we haven’t found it yet. Hopefully 2026 will bring us plenty of new opportunities to try out different ways to theme classic can’t-miss entertainment specially to your theme.
