Vedanti is from India and is currently an International student at Trent University. She is a multimedia artist working with different media including acrylic, oil, pastels, and also crafts like card making out of waste. She is an instructor at the Art School of Peterborough and is practicing henna as a side business. She learnt henna when she was young from her professional henna tattoo artist relative who taught her basic designs after which she became a self taught artist with practice over the years.
