Rita K is one of our Caricature Artists in San Antonio:
Rita has been a professional portrait and caricature artist since 1986. She spent 12 years with Kaman's Art Shoppes and was the Manager for all of Kaman's artists at Six Flags Fiesta Texas from 1992-1997. Since then, she has become one of the best known festival caricaturists in the South Central Texas area.
All year long you can find her sketching away at events like the Texas Folklife Festival, the Austin Pecan Street Festivals, the Fredricksburg Oktoberfest, and many more!
Being primarily a portrait artist, Rita is able to capture an incredibly accurate likeness, and although her goal with her studio caricatures is to be capable of the dramatically "stretched" exaggerations she sees from some of her caricaturist friends, her own quick festival sketches remain fun and fast, with the mild exaggeration popular with family crowds.

- $210/hour, with a 2 hour minimum.
