Katie T - Face Painters
Katie is a single mom of one very amazing teenager who also shares Mom's artistic talent. Originally from southern Louisiana, Katie has been living in Murfreesboro, TN since 1989.
She has been drawing and has been fascinated with art since the age of five. In 1996, an entertainment company in Nashville contacted her through a Young Artists and Writers group in search of face painters. They offered her her first gig, painting for a hospital NICU reunion, and she has worked this annual event ever since, for 17 years.
Learning from other local professionals, Katie has increased her business and skills over the years by word of mouth throughout the Nashville, Middle Tennessee, and southern Kentucky areas. She has a professional set up including all professional non-toxic water-based paints, as well as a professional make-up artist case and high back chair for her customers to sit comfortably. Katie most enjoys the excitement of a child’s face during their artistic reveal. But Katie always says, "face painting is for children of all ages, from 0 to 99!"

Painting Speeds
Simple Designs: 20-25 faces per hour
Full Face Designs: 15-18 faces per hour
Rates
- $160/hour, with a 2 hour minimum.
