Joe W is one of our Caricature Artists in Emporia KS:
Joe W has been drawing all his life and has been doing caricatures for over 13 years. His style, while cohesive, incorporates a wide variety of shapes, poses and layouts. His main goal is to capture your essence and try to get a laugh. Needless to say, he’s not afraid to get goofy with it while not being too mean… usually. He is also perfectly capable of drawing you like one of his french girls or one of his french girl’s hunky boyfriends as the case may be.
Born and raised in Wichita Kansas his background includes an education in fine arts and he has a BFA in graphic design from Wichita State. His accolades include: being the designer of the Wichita State University challenge coins and the winning artist of the Wichita Riverfest button designer contest in both 2018 and 2022. He is also a member of Brickmob and has done many murals in Wichita and the surrounding area.

Drawing Speeds (drawing speeds are an indication of what the artist is capable of and are not guaranteed)
Traditional Caricatures:- B&W Heads Only: 12-15 people per hour
- B&W Body / Gag: 10-12 people per hour
- Color Heads Only: 8-10 people per hour
- Color Body / Gag: 4-6pm people per hour
Rates
- $175/hour, with a 2 hour minimum.
