Chetna is a leading Henna artist in Las Vegas, known for her unique creativity and more than 49 years of experience. She first started doing henna in India at the age of 20, perfecting her craft at home. Soon after, she immigrated to America, worked in California as henna artist. In 2000, she was invited to start a henna shop in the newly opened “Aladdin” casino (now Planet Hollywood). She made it big there, tattooing many famous celebrities and tourists alike. Eventually, she left Planet Hollywood location to start her own henna company based in Las Vegas.
Chetna specializes in traditional intricate Indian designs, as well as ethnic, modern, contemporary, and exotic patterns on various parts of the body. She excels at customizing patterns on request—whether traditional or whimsical, she can create a design just for you. All art is done freehand. At a typical event, she can do 10-12 simple hand designs per hour, with more complex designs taking longer. She vows to never use black henna, which is very dangerous to the skin and could lead to irritation.
